MD Helicopters, Inc. Announces New Comprehensive Support Plan “MD Power” Best in Industry - 24 February 2008



Houston, TX, February 24, 2008  –   MD Helicopters, Inc. today announced a new, comprehensive support plan that covers parts for overhaul, scheduled and non-scheduled events on its helicopters. The Plan is the most comprehensive and cost effective support plan in the industry and has behind it the full support and resources of MD Helicopters, Inc.

“MD Power” represents a new standard in the industry, encouraging all owners of new and used MD aircraft to participate in a plan that protects their investment for so long as they own the aircraft and even beyond. The plan is transferable to a new owner and maintains the aircraft, for all intent and purpose, as a "zero time" aircraft in perpetuity.

MD has created a separate department, within its material support organization, specifically to support the MD Power customers. Brian Reid, Director of Aftermarket Business Development said, “Our customers are among the most loyal in the industry and we want to maintain and enhance that loyalty. We created this plan specifically for customers who buy our aircraft with longevity and support in mind.”

Just announced, MD Power has already been warmly embraced by the market place with several new customers already capitalizing upon the advantages of the new program. MD Power is available on every new and used MD Helicopter.
